黄身的ミジンコ

168×223×5㎜（開いた状態）

鶏の卵の発生写真？という雰囲気だが、３種類の写真を重ねて作ったイメージだ。

ベースになっているのは、ざらっとした質感の紙に、黄色いサボテンの花の接写とたんぽぽの冠毛種子の接写を重ね刷りしたもの。（裏面の黄色い丸は、サボテンの花だけをプリントしたものである。）
その上にOHPフィルムにプリントしたミジンコの顕微鏡写真を乗せている。（そのフィルムをくしゃくしゃにして広げた。）

ミジンコは教室生徒さんからおすそ分けしてもらったもの。
父の古い顕微鏡で覗くと、とても美しい。接眼レンズにiPhoneをあてて、撮った。が、プリントアウトすると今ひとつだ。

顕微鏡でもっと上手に撮れないか、と検索すると、iPhoneを顕微鏡にとりつけるアダプタがあることを発見して、買った。
それはそのままつかうと接写レンズにもなる。それを使って、サボテンの花やたんぽぽの種を接写した。 このようにして芋づる式な経緯で、私のところに「流れ着いた」道具やイメージを使って、組み合わせた。

「サンドイッチホルダ」というこのシリーズは、そういった諸々を、まとめあげる装置として、適していると思う。

編集的だ。開けないけど「本」と関係ある感じがする。

どの写真もちゃんと写真をやってる人からみたら、酷いものだろう。美術をやってきた私としても、それぞれはそのままでは使えない感じ。だからこそ、組み合わせようという意欲がでてくる。

私の人生は、いままでになかった表現の装置を発見する旅でもある。
楽しい。

Daphnia like yolk
(Sandwitched notebook holder):

One of my students gave me the Daphnia.

I observed it by using my father's old microscope.

It looked so beautiful. I took photos by placing the lens of my iPhone right on it.

But the print was not so good.

I wanted to take more beautiful photos so I searched the internet and I found an adapter for the iphone and microscope.

This adapter can be used for macro photography too.

I used this lens and and took the pictures of the cactus flowers and dandelion seeds.

In this sweet potato formula way, I got these tools and the images came. (In Japanese the sweet potato way refers to lifting one potato from the ground with string and many potatoes come out)

I then made combinations of these images.

These Sandwitched notebook holders are a very good trick for stacking images like this.

Each photo by itself was terrible for pro photographer.

I was educated in art school, so my impression is the same.

But that was why I wanted to trim, stack and mix these photos and then I could make another beautiful image.

My life is a journey of finding alternative ways of presentation.

It's so fun.
