竹越しの月（ノート挟み）

どうしてこのイメージが現れたのか、正確にはわからない。

竹のイメージがとても好きだ。

私の表現は、好きなものの組みわせだ。

祖父母の家にあった、壊れた竹の籠。
（「みだれかご」という名で、脱いだ着物を仮置きするものだそうだ。）

竹からの木漏れ日（たけもれび？）が壁に映ったのを透明フィルムにプリントしたもの。

たんぽぽの綿毛の接写を半紙にプリントして蝋を塗ったもの。

丸く裂きとった白い和紙。

これらを重ねたら、こんなふうになった。
素材そのもののイメージから新たなイメージが、急にピントが合ったみたいに現れるのに、興奮する。

画像をレイヤーで重ねて加工することは、今はとても簡単。
だけど、そこには質感とか実際の奥行きがない。

時々、私は自分が組みあわせた結果にすごくおどろく。
実物と実物のあわいから、うたが現れる感じがする。
月はおぼろにかそけく。
写真でリアルに感じるのではなく、素材そのものと「見立て」にリアルを感じる。



The moon over the bamboo

( Sandwitched notebook holder ) :

I do not exactly know how this image came about

but I do like the image of bamboo very much.

My expression is a combination of things I like.

１）A bamboo basket tray that was broken in the grandparents' house.
　　(It is for putting kimonos in when we take them off.)

２）Sunlight shone through bamboo leaves and made a picture on the wall. I took a photo of this and printed it onto transparent film.

３）A close-up of Dandelion's fluff printed on Japanese calligraphy paper with paraffin.

４）Two white pieces of Japanese washi paper circles which had torn rips around the edges.

When I piled these 4 together, it became like this.

I get excited even though a new image has appeared from the materials, as if the subject suddenly became in focus.

Recently it has become easy to overlay images and make new pictures using computers. However, there is no texture or actual depth there.

Sometimes I am very surprised at the result of my combinations.

I feel a sense of poetry from that.

The moon is hazy.

I feel the naturalistic properties of washi paper itself and the image of the moon.
