二十歳の娘への記念プレゼント（ノート挟み）

この作に関して、
話は裏面（二つ目の写真）から始まる。
娘が高校の時に、もう壊れてるのにずっと使っていたムーミンの箸入れ。随分前に「捨てられないから、おとうさんこれで何か作って」と預かっていた。そのまま、何にしようかな、と置きっぱなしになっていた。
これを使って、成人記念のプレゼントを作る、ついでに展示にも出す、一挙両得！と思い立ち、ようやく作りはじめた。
物を捨てられない彼女は、愛用してボロボロな山用の雨具も残している。
お気に入りのミントグリーン。
それを下地に敷くことにした。
大学のオープンキャンパスに行った時に拾った、ポプラの種。これも敷いて、色のバランスに黄色の丸（別の場所にも使っている、サボテンの花びらのプリント）を入れた。
表側には雨具の裏地の暗いグレーが見えてるので、こもれびをプリントしたOHPフィルムを重ねて、和紙の丸を入れて、即席月夜となった。
月の中にはスナフキンを配す。
内側はにぎやかそうなムーミン達で「いつも君を見守るあたたかな家族」を表し、外側は「二十歳の君は一人で行く旅人」でもあるよとスナフキンを。
荒涼とした月夜野に、ススキを思わせる羽もあしらう。
ぎゅうぎゅうたくさん詰めたし、箸置きもあるから、なんだかお弁当感があるね。

About this work, I started to write on the inside of the cover.
A broken chopstick box with Moomin print.
She had been using that everyday during her high school days.
I kept leaving it as it was and I thought to myself "what should I do?"
I suddenly came up with this.
Using this I made a gift for her adult commemoration, and also put in exhibits, both at once.
Finally I began to make it.
My daughter can't throw away things that she has loved.
At home she had left her ragged climbing rain gear, her favorite color, mint green.
I decided to lie it out on the ground.
I stuck on some Poplar seeds that she picked up when she went to the university's open campus. These seeds looked like cotton.
I also stuck on some circles of photographed yellow cactus petals to contrast the color balance. I have used this yellow paper many times.
On the front side the dark gray of the rain gear lining can be seen.
I used transparent print showing sunbeams shinning through leaves and laid across the rain gear. This combination looks like moon night.
On the inside the Moomins show that caring families will always look out for you. On the out side Snafkin shows that you are a twenty year old traveler so you must also go alone.
The feather is like the tops of silver grass in the wilderness.
The chopstick case fragments that are packed into the image reminds me of her lunch box.
